THE SHROUD OF TURIN HAS BEEN POKED AND PROBED FOR CENTURIES! IF A PARTICLE PHYSICIST AND NOTED SCIENTISTS TELL US THAT THE IMAGE HAD TO BE CREATE BY A BRIGHT FLASH OF LIGHT AND THAT IT CONTAINS POLLEN PARTICLES FROM A PLANT THAT ONLY GROWS IN JERUSALEM AND ALL THE OTHER IMPORTANT FINDINGS ON THE SHROUD I THINK THAT WE CAN START BELIEVING THAT MAY JESUS LEFT US THIS CLOTH AS AN ARTICLE OF FAITH FOR THE UNBELIEVING! THESE ARE THE DAYS OF DOUBT MY FRIENDS!

eEehh.. Ummm.. maybe it doesn't exhibit the distortions that a cloth folded around a body would because the image was put on the cloth when it was flat. Um... like You do when You paint something.
I don't know about You but to me that seems a little bit more likely than ""a body hovering on an event horizon"".
But I guess that's just me being skeptical...
