well here you can see gruberova knows nothing about italian opera, and the melody sounds disorted and that she has no sense for melodies. RUBBISH. I almost can't believe my ears ho wonderful this post is. thank you!

One of the few great modern sopranos. Gruberova teaches us a valuabe lesson. it is not enough that music is sung merely correctly, in time and in tune. but the essential substance of bel canto is a melodic line must be sung persuasievely, movingly, excitingly and convincingly. great post... thank you. regards,
