Here's another piece from the Final Fantasy VIII Piano Collections. This is truly a magnificent piece once you have listened through it a few times. The dynamics of the piece became very sincere and important to me once I started seriously practicing it. I began to realize the beauty of how it was arranged, in comparison to the original piece that was composed for the game.

Playing this makes me want to play the game again. :-)

I'm currently working on a piece from both the FF7 and FF9 Piano Collections, so hopefully those will find their way to my channel soon.

  • Hey great job Matt. I wish I had your dynamics. You can probably tell from my version that I'm a percussionist and not a pianist ;-) Great work!

  • @Kazlic Thanks Kazlic; you did well in your version too!

  • There are plenty of things that make one FF be particularly better than another - FF9 definately had the best music! :)

You can see the reflection of someone watching you in the music rest :)
