  • I actually was planning on voting for obama but now that I see his choices in So-called preachers, I will proudly vote to Mccain. I grew up in the 60's and what is being preached is the same crap the black panters preached..

  • What crap is that?

  • Seems like blacks are the ones with hatred in their hearts, give up the slave shit already. I work and also clean my own house. Hmmm, guess I be a slave huh? Those who want to succeed in the USA will, pay attention in school and you can get good jobs too. For those who say God Damn Americia get da hell out of Americia. You are no longer slaves, you have the right to leave.

Our Black folks are speaking out in the open what your ancestors were too cowardice to say in public...which is the SAME reason that when they came out they had hoods on. You all came here uninvited and then you went and got some people to build a country that your lazy behinds would not do. Give me a break,.,..the shoe is on the other foot now and you all are having fits about it. You are just as free to leave and go back back to where you and your ancestors came from.

  • I been wondering why nobody came to save him and its still the same today in many ways.

  • My man main Otis !

  • Actually, by definition, they are pretty much the same--different outcome, of course. A lynching is a murder, driven by a group or mob, typically based on flimsy, if any evidence of a crime.

  • What Christ suffered on the Cross of Calvary for my sin and yours was hardly a lynching!!! It was crucifixion!!! To compare the two is just wrong.

  • Pretty Good! Jesus became God in the public spectacle of crucifixion

not sure the relevance. King lived in the south, where the Democratic party was run by "Dixiecrats", whose membership consisted of people like Orval Faubus and Strom Thurmond. These individuals left the Democratic party and became Republicans after Johnson signed Civil Rights legislation. Keep your comments in perspective. And King 'campaigned' for LBJ, a Democrat.

  • We need a real eye opener here.

Martin Luther King was a Republican.

'technically' Jesus wasn't lynched because there was some 'legal authority' given for it. While as a Christian, you know the *real* purpose of the crucifixion, the people who followed through with it did not. A mob mentality was involved, lack of evidence to support a crime was involved, murder was involved. What's the difference between the crucifixion of Jesus and a lynching?
