President Mwai Kibaki has emphasized the need to focus on what is best for Kenya and stopping petty squabbles in the process of implementing the new constitution. While addressing Kenyans through a televised speech to mark the first anniversary of the promulgation of the constitution, President Kibaki said that although there were differences of opinion among the multiple actors in the constitution implementation process, they must be resolved amicably without derailing the whole process. Meanwhile Parliament continued debating and adopting constitutional bills in a rush to beat Friday's deadline. Chris Thairu reports
