I used to be a Mormon, and I will say that a lot has changed in the LDS church since the time of the Mountain Meadow Massacre. For instance, in 2007 they removed the naked touching from the temple endowment ceremony. Also, one of the early profits of the church stated that those who teach Christianity are hirelings of Satan. Now the Mormons would rather pass themselves off as Christians. I guess over all, the LDS “Church” is trying to move away from their Bat-Sh-t-Crazy roots.

And to all the people saying this and that about the LDS church: The Mormon church of 1856 and the Mormon church of 2011...NIGHT AND DAY. America of 1856 and America of 2011...NIGHT AND DAY! Comparing this to current LDS teachings and lifestyle is like comparing poop to pee. Yes, both bodily waste. But different hues and different color. So SHUT UP!

If you are LDS, and Don't believe that the Mountain Meadows Massacre happened, read your history, it is a true story. The movie might have fictionalized parts, but read the diaries from those who were involved.
