Actually, a bog is dry until it's flooded at the harvest. The sprinklers keep the cranberries from getting damaged with frostbite by putting a protective coating of ice over it. See, learn something new every day! ;)

Why are you irrigating your crop with sprinklers? Isn't it a wet enough already, being a BOG?

And now you have my alter ego on the case too! Abasudika is my other half (of me kinda thing). Two for the price of one! Yey! =:D

Ah, a bond already! Thank you for your kind comments. What a great thing to come home to.

This is so amazing. Cranberries under water? We have them here in Europe too but they grow in the forest. Wet forest yes but not under water. True, i never went to pick them myself to know how it is exactly. By the way i love the music. What is it? And what is that Enya song called?

The cranberries are only harvested under water.... the water allows them to float to the surface after the berries are beaten off the bush. They grow in dry bogs. ;)
