@jarrodgrysen It is Eric Holder, President Obama's hand picked Attorney General who decided, after Preet Bharara's recommendation, to indict the online poker businesses. It is Obama's DOJ that contrived a loose interpretation criminal code: § 1955. "Prohibition of illegal gambling businesses" to include a game of skill—poker. So yes, this is all because of the Obama administration.

I'm definately NOT a Democrat...but here is an interesting tidbit... In May 2009, U.S. Congressman Barney Frank ( a DEMOCRAT as we all know) introduced a bill to overturn the gambling aspects of the Act, “The Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act,” which seeks to repeal the major online gaming obstacles of the UIGEA and go further in protecting Americans from fraud, while safeguarding against underage and problem gamblers
