The problem is that everyone on the left and on the right believes in freedom, and responsibility, and enterprise, so as an agenda it hardly seems to exist.
It's just too vague.
If he has an agenda, and doesn't feel comfortable saying what it is to his own constituents, then that's not very reassuring.
I understand his impulse to have the EU do less, though. It's a new idea to have a European Parliament, and it should do what it can to avoid doing more harm than good.
