This is one of my favorite Buffett songs. Since I say that about every other Buffett song, you can take that with a grain of salt (Just not mine!). But really - kill stress - get a watch as described in the song and save your own life! Let someone else worry about time and temperature, you are doing good to who you are right now :) I also know it is a short song and not a lot of variety in the video but I was hoping to express the song the way I hear it, and in a way that hopefully Mr. B. will at least get a smile out of. Peace all!

  • is this the actual name of the song? breathe in breathe out move on or is it something else?

  • @PrimEvilPro That's the name of the song

  • I like jimmys music "even though" he's an OBAMA lover !!

  • @MrCurtisass lol i hear that :)

  • I understand what people are saying, BUT this song was written about Katrina you have to listen to all the words. Canal means Canal St, Lake Pontchartrain coming through the door, Buried the Ninth Ward to the 2nd floor

  • @drdgolf I liked the video of the guy on the boat, doesn't have much to do with the song. Looks like Amsterdam to me actually :)

  • this is one of my favorite songs ever... and im only 14 =^)

  • The thing I Love about Jimmys songs is that no matter what your going through, he can convey the words that seem to say, "Hey, I know what you're going through". He sends so many different messages with just one song and we all feel like they are just for us. This song will hold me out for 10 more days until I join my Husband out of state. We've been apart for 3 months after 11 years of marriage because of work.

  • Def one of my favorite songs ever as well. Beautiful, uplifting song. We should all strive to live in the now.

  • As one of those who hunkered down and stayed put, Jimmy hits it right with the lyrics about how we've seen it all before. Hurricanes are nothing new here. A lot of folks leave but a lot don't for one reason or another. We figure, a lotta wind, a lotta rain, some damage and mess that we'll clean up the next day and back to business as usual. We were all wrong that time. He's also got right that it's hard to explain. You had to be there. This is the best song that came out of that night.

  • @JacobiMonsoon ~

the bike racks in particular remind of NL.

  • I heard this song a long while ago and (sadly) forgot about it until my pastor quoted

"I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man

    Floating down canal

It doesn't use numbers or moving hands

    It always just says now

Now you may be thinking that I was had

But this watch is never wrong

And If I have trouble the warranty said

Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On"

in our Christmas Eve service. I am going to buy this immediately!

  • @JacobiMonsoon I think he is the crazy man who sold Jimmy the watch?
