Sentimental Journey B17G Eau Claire Wisconsin

My dad and I visited the Sentimental Journey in Eau Claire Wisconsin. The plane was manufactured late in the war and did not see service in the European war, however, it was assigned to the Pacific theater. In 1947, the aircraft was removed from storage in Japan and assigned to the Philippines as a photo-mapping plane. For nearly three years she served in that capacity, flying to all corners of the Pacific in the configuration of a RB-17G.
