Yeah I know, but then you have to put a plenum on the throtte bodies, basically defeating the purpose of the itb lmao

@papaown You can turbo an ITB setup, and you can supercharge with a centrifugal blower. You just have to build a manifold. They do it on the BMW's all the time. Not sure if there would be any gains though, over a standard intake manifold on boost.

itbs make your powerband alot more strong especially in a small 4 cylinder engine, it'll help tremendously, but they're not very good for daily drivers (unless) you get sock filters (go on top of the throttle bodies), only downside is they're difficult to tune, and you cant have a turbo/supercharger, but direct port nitrous will be possible, itb's are a great mod if you have the money and great to show off lol

yeah, lude has sportier gears, especially if this guy only swapped engine and not tranny. itbs won't kill powerband, but they're more oriented toward higher rpm performance as i'm sure you well know so you'll usually sacrifice gains and depending on build, may actually lose some torque in exchange for higher hp #s.
