  • Altough I agree with everything you say, and I hate smudboy, one little thing. They weren´t taking small amounts of individuals of many species to see if they could get away with it, they were studying who would be the best candidate to transform into a Reaper. Small thing, good commentary, it would be great to see smudboy admitting he was wrong (unfortunatelly no, but it´s a start)

  • @MJISTHECHAMP I see your point :)

  • @LiquidLogic3030 I know :P

It was an obvious change for game play reasons (and one I prefer) at least they tried to tie it in lore wise. Most games would not bother

  • @squee913 But changing every weapon in existence to use heat sinks is? I couldn't help myself...

  • Lol smudboy complains about all the wrong things but forgets that there shouldn't even be a shockwave in space!?!?

    lol

  • @fiveMIRrOrs Indeed... perhaps EDI was able to circumvent it. She is a reaper AI after all. No way to be sure wither way, but considering most people do not think about these things as deeply as you or I I can see Bioware not wasting resources to explain it. :)

  • @squee913 Speculations, but if I were a Reaper, I damn sure would add some sort of security code to that IFF box. And if the code gets compromised in any way, I would send a message to all the local high value assets telling them to change the identification code to a new one.

Considering that the Relays usually allow passing for all ships they wouldn't have to be updated, and besides, if I recall correctly, Virgil did say that the Reapers can lock down all the relays from Citadel.

  • @fiveMIRrOrs How would you change the locks? All the IFF does is cut down on the drift when using a Mass Relay. They would have to re-work every single mass relay (if that is even possible) The IFF is less like a key to a door and more like a scope to a rifle to make the shot more accurate. What you suggest would be like modifying every rifle in the world so that one lost scope would not fit them. It just is not realistic.

  • Okay, gamebreaker number 1, and ye all miss it. The god damn IFF and derelict Reaper.

Reapers - the highly evolved sentient machines are really thorough cleaning traces of every single cycle. But they leave one of their own, with keyes to their super secret base behind. And they don't bother even changing the locks.

Boom! They just made the big bad evil Reapers look as dumb as the Vorcha.

  • Smudboy, stop spamming Squee's shit with video responses. You're a troll; we get it, just go away please.
