Can't Stand Still (1985) A cat whose romantic advances are spurned by a cute female feline falls off a roof and attempts to drown his sorrows and cool off in a local bar. "Jitters" soon finds himself chased by dogs, dancing with a gay cop, then swung around by his tail, set on fire, mocked, run over by a car and finally rejected from hell. -- Produced by Angus McKay - Directed by Peter Sander. No actual cats were harmed in the making of this video.

I bought this cassette way back in the mid-eighties when a saw this video on TV. The vid has a Fritz the Cat kinda feel. Great song too if you dig the 80's sound and your're looking for a rare gem.

Like everyone else here, I've had snippets of this song & video going through my brain for years; used to always watch it on First Choice pay TV in the mid-80's, but I could never find any info about the band or video...thank you!!! For years I'd hear "It's hot & it's sticky, think I'll get myself a mickey" and see the brick bounce off the billboard and deflate the cat's face...that's a sign of a great hook!
