Who is the soprano? I have heard the same version by Caballe. I am a fan of Montsy but I think the soprano who is singing this version in this opera is better
than Caballe.

Yes, I know about those recordings but as she does not sing the leading role it does not really do her justice. Wow, it is such a bif desicion to take when ones career takes off. She must be a very dedicated and wonderful mum. Hope though when the children are a little older that she graces the opera stage once more.

Ah, and did she give up a very promising internation career for her family? I remember hearing her first at the Maria Callas Competition singing I Puritani which was fabulous. Dragoni was the competition. Are there any recordings of Antonella in leading roles? Are there any private prirate recordings except for Sancia di Castiglia.
I am glad to hear that she is a nice person too.
