@Chaantastic over 40 if theres tail wind, otherwise its average of 35 mph. went out to mary yesterday and rode a rogerbros asym witha 29.5 inch wb, 80a venom cannibals, and surfrodz on 45* baseplates and 90a venom barrel boardside 90a cone roadside back, 88a venom barrel boardside 90a venom cone road side front and it felt so good. theres lots of turns but there all banked and you never have to put a hand down. short wheel base ftw!!! now i wanna try a 28inch wheelbase.
@DuttonWebb with a tail wind you probably max out 45. the average speed is only 30-35. if you air brake 30, tuck and its probably 35 to almost 40. its not steep, just long, every turn is banked so no need to put a hand down, and if you foot brake you shouldnt be riding it. it isnt a hard hill to ride, just a fuckin dope hill. just got back from maryhill and we were pushin 35 max with no wind and full tuck. glad i live in seattle!!! NW LOVE FO LIFE!!!!
@Chaantastic yeah thats what i thought. I was lucky enough to compete this year and witnessed the riding of tiny wheelbases first hand. lolz. definitely seems doable once you've ridden the hill a good bit.
You survived!! :)
