The Simcoe WaveDeck opened in June 2009. The artistic design has a dramatic 2.6 metre high curve as well as metal railings to prevent injuries. It is located just west of Simcoe Street at the waters edge and has quickly become a major attraction along the waterfront.[2]

you'll see why
the deck isn't 'smooth', it has tons or ridges because of the 'wave' effect
I was tempted to rollerblade on it, but noooo
