yea they found water but they will be chased or killed from there, how can a human be self sufficient when there is nothing to start with but sand? they are very strong people to have gone through so much and to start over and over so many times, my heart is with them

I do donate to charity. However, sometimes, people have to look at themselves and try to get out of their situation. There are millionaires in this world who started with absolutely nothing. These people don't have to become millionaires, they only have to try to be self-sufficient. I heard that they now don't have to worry about water since they've found a source. News flash: there are other people on this planet who are just as needy. What about them?

Ok so we don't send in UN peace keepers to protect the people, instead we should send in a few missionaries, convert entire armies to Christianity, and all of the problems in Darfur like poverty, lack of health care, will just dissapear? as for sudan itself, do you know that there are many rebel groups involved? Some of these groups that have popped up have nothing to do with either the Sudanese government or the "Africans." In other words, these groups are not backed by the Sudanese government. These groups are all trying to seek control of the darfur region.

cheekbones36: it is a FACT that the overall number of wars on the African continent have decreased due to the economic boom. i've done my reading. also keep in mind that not all countries in africa are unstable. not every african government is killing people.
