Ascaris infections are transmitted via fecal-oral route (in other words, you ate something with contaminated fecal matter).

Ascaris eggs can be found in human feces, which CONTAMINATE THE SOIL upon contact. People get infections after touching their mouths with their hands that have been contaminated with these parasitic eggs, or by ingesting contaminated food or water.

@820423 Oh I almost forgot. There was this one time when I had this huge pain in my stomach, and went to the local doctor. He said that the worms had gotten hold of one of my balls, trying to drag it to my lungs and accually convert it.
