So there is no key? Only appregios in those chords? Because those chords don't add up to a specific key, I am now more confused than I was before :s

@bramverbeek2 The basic key is E major. If you play the chords instead of single notes then you get Emaj7, F#m7, G#m7, Amaj7, B7, C#m7, D#m7b5 and again Emaj7. That's the classic scale.
If you play Cmaj7 instead of C#m7 and D#m7b5 and then finish with Emaj7 again, then you have the Jazz feeling that suits the change of Emaj7 and F#m7 during the impro. Cheers Klaus :-)
