This makes sense, and I'm going to try it...BUT...
1) I work with the girl and everyday she stops by my office to visit me.
2) I am quite a but older than her, and have a higher position in the organization (she does NOT work for me) and she sees me as an older brother and mentor.
WHAT DO I DO? PLEASE HELP because I have reached my breaking point!!! HOW can I break the relationship with her without crushing her?

This should be a titled How to Attract Women (whose IQ is below 70). You say that just ditching a girl and then showing up a few months later all oozing in testosterone is a good idea. It's not. She's going to be pissed at you unless she has the memory span of a goldfish. How do you take it from friends to romance? Treat her like a fucking person. Be chivalrous (open doors, give her a jacket if she's cold etc), spend time with her alone, maybe treat her to lunch or a movie or something.
