Ireland in June 2008. The Irish people vote on the Lisbon Treaty. There are only few days left to the vote and we want to know what the Irish really do think about it, what do they debat about, what are their arguments and favorits and against.

  • You dont take a position on the Yes or No side. The Irish are best informed people on the Treaty compared the rest of this continent. At the same time you are right, the level of information is low, since Lisbon is anything else than transparent + very difficult to understand. Happened on purpose, it is part of the strategy.The citizens in the rest of the EU are by-passed this is dangerous for the European project. We have to keep on the debate on democracy in Ireland and the EU.
