Oh mah gosh! I've been looking EVERYWHERE to do this! I was looking for Sony Vegas, Final Cut Pro, I can't afford After Effects, OpenShot, KDenlive, and here the program I've always wanted to do this with, is FREE! :D

Can I do this with a Chroma Key effect? Like if I got this awesome fake phone with a green screen on the "monitor" and it shows me holding the phone up, will it look like there's something on it? Either way that's awesome.

Ok...enough showing off...how is it done...I have screwed with that motion effect for hours and the thing kinda tracks but it moves the video around instead of tracking the object. I turned rotation, and track subpixel on.
VERY impressive...where did the light come from...looks like a GIMP effect, lol

I plan on making a full tutorial soon, however I super scrambled my dependencies right now. (I just HAD to experiment!) I'm about to upgrade to Gutsy as soon as I'm done with my back up.
The light was a gimp effect. Just cranked out a quick PNG for the test.
