Jak HC,, funny enough we had a party about 2 weeks ago, several of the Guards lads that had just come on leave, were there. They ended up in the garden singing Men of Harlech, Land of my Fathers and one of my favourites the welsh hymn "Suo Gan" was awesome to listen to, only thing was my neighbours didnt appreciate the choral episode at 3 in the morning.........I loved it tho........!!!

Watching this brings back memories of when I was very small watching my father stand tall in his uniform. I am very proud of my father and all the Welsh guards that have served and are currently serving. I am also proud of the rest of our British troops out there. I'm raising my son to value what it means to be British and be proud of what our troops have accomplished.

Being an serviceman myself, it never ceases to amaze me how the Welsh lads seem to grow some 2 foot taller when this song is sung or played, fair play boys, it inspires you on to bravery and glory.
Long may you continue........!!!
