Darius Rucker has a great voice, but his songs are too simplistic for my tastes. Songs about drinking coffee or grandpa sitting on the porch or eating spaghetti? Who gives a ****!!! I'd love to hear do songs more in the vein of Terry Collier, because that's who he sounds like.

The guy has a great voice. I listen to him whether he sings country or whatever, he seems to enjoy playing so I enjoy listening.

I love Darius, he's the reason i pay attention to the radio at work. i wait to hear his songs and when i finally hear them, i sing a long to each song

Hey, I gotta say as a white dude myself, I have always been a fan of Charlie Pride and have a ton of respect for Darius as he does try his hand at country. Hopefully he will have a great career in this field.

@jhartist123 I agree with you, not many black artists stray away from the supposed norm of R&B and Hip-Hop genre. But Darius is a great artist with an awesome voice!! I am black myself and love all types of music( can't do the heavy metal though lol) and country music is one of my favorites! Charlie Pride and never forget the awesome Ray Charles not many black musicians can really pull off country music. Just my opinion

He needs to stay with country music. He will be on par with Tobbie Keith if he keeps this up. He could be the next huge country star...and do it effortlessly. He has the country voice. He looks more at home in country music. He will be number one soon!

His new CD really shocked me, I knew it'd be good since he's a pro, but it blew me away. Great musician, and I can't wait for his next country album
