I used to work at a Bonanza. It was awesome. We never had to report our tips. I guess that's part of the reason it shut down suddenly and when we tried to cash our last checks they bounced.

Absolutely loved Bonanza when they were here. They don't have them anymore around the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

good idea for an ad...have the skinniest, most underfed looking celebrities advertise an all you can eat buffet.

I remember Bonanza,same as ponderosa. It's a shame they went out recently,they were a good restuarant chain.

Yes, Dan Blocker was an investor. Sadly he passed on. Things went downhill from there. There was a Bonanza restarauant locally by me. It was extremely popular. My parents took me there a few times as a child. The food was good and it was always crowded. Ponderosa took over and all those restaurants closed down. The former restaraunt building near me is now used as a run-down auto garage.

Yep on those rare occasions when my Dad wanted to take the whole family out to dinner, We always went to Bonanza, We thought we hit the big time.. I always got fish since i wasn't too into steak.
