TF2 Engineer Tricks #2 - koth_viaduct

Here you learn 2 nice locations für your hardware.
no real glitches, but a bit tricky to reach.
And once you build up your stuff, it can be pretty handy for your team and not so nice for the opposite team ;)

I discovered the first spot but I got up there using a dispenser. It's perfectly fortified, but I haven't tried it yet in an actual game because no one on the other team is about to let me just build a dispenser in the middle of such a large opening. How far from that spot can the sentry shoot? Can it kill anyone on the capture point?

it reaches the hill point, but does not fully guard the whole area.

i experienced, that it works best, if an other sentry guards the opposite site from below the cliff.

the most positive advantage is, that it is hart to reach for an enemy and the engineer is more secure and doesn't get shot at directly

There's another way to the 1. location too. You can just jump with the teleport and put it on the platform from midair.

for the second one you can place a sentry w/o a teleporter and just jump up to upgrade it

As was said in the steam forums, the "special" spots depend on a good team, which is able to defend an area and use the sentrys as backup/assistance. especially in koth_viaduct, you have no place for the sentry, where it's really secure from demoman/soldier. but thats just because of the layout. there is no spot where the sentry covers a really full area it can secure completely.

since everyone is complaining about the music, yes i will change in the next vid. so you dont need to comment this anymore xD
