Waterboarding is no more torture than the fraternity hazing that went on at Abu Graib. These liberal news types are fighting against our military and all that it does to keep us safe. Amanpour is lead around by some dipshit in Cambodia and get smoke pumped up her ass and regurgitates it as fact. Her idea of waterboarding is way off base. I agree that it's morally wrong. But in addition, there are 3 possible outcomes from torture. 1. The guy resists, and doesn't talk. 2 The guy breaks down and tells you whatever you want to hear. 3 The guy breaks down and tells out the truth. The most frequently seen is situation 2, but you can't tell the difference between 2 and 3 so if you do happen on anything true, you have no way of knowing it. Ergo, it's fundamentally ineffective, and thus not worth it even if it was morally justified.
