Today we look at the history of character who pretty much grew up on the show. Ben left in the late 90s but came back a few later as an adult. I remember when Matthew Bomer took over the role. I remember thinking, this kid is going to go far. Fast forward about 6 years later and now he has his on show on the USA Channel. I was saddened with change in direction they took with Ben in the end, but it was acted perfectly. Enjoy the video and don't forget to become a fan of the Spauldingfield facebook page!

@Spauldingfield I thought that t was proven that both Billy and Kyle shared the same biological mother? (Sally Gleason, who slept with both HB before he married Martha, Josh and Trish's mother and Kyle's father John Malone?)

@idoles4ever They actually recast both roles, but yes Marah and Marina are two different people.

I watched some vids and I didn't understand the roles of the two girls: Marah and Marina. I thought they changed the actress^^, but it's a different story with Marina!
OMG! He was a serial killer! What can "redeem" him is his tormented childhood and his true feelings for both girls.
He played some kind of tragic hero....

I didn't realize how much young Ben and even Baby Ben really looked like he could have grown up to look like grown up Ben. Good casting.

I didn't see Ben on the show, but I did know that he was Billy's nephew and Fletcher's adoptive son.

@Goldenrod636 He actually wasn't Billy's nephew. Ben's real father was Kyle Sampson. At one time everyone thought that Kyle and Billy were brothers, but it later came out that they were not. It's little confusing so it's easy to think that. In the syringe was some kind of diabetic fluid. Ramona, who we was having an affair with was a diabetic so he would take her shots and use that to kill his victims.
