Hi guys. Here is a review of the Freshlook Colorblends Toric Gray contacts. I know a lot of you go to youtube to find your information so I'm doing what little I can to help you all. I got these from Wal-Mart. I ordered in the morning and got them the next day, they are delivered by 1800contacts.com

To begin, I wear toric contact lenses. Toric lenses correct astigmatism, and because of this there is a major price difference. $37 for regular contacts, $69.99 for a toric prescription. If you have astigmatism but you just want to change your eye color, you can go ahead and wear any colored lens. Circle lens, Freshlook, Acuvue2 whatever, as long as you have a +0 power on the lens (no prescription. You can ONLY wear toric lenses if you want vision correction properties while having astigmatism!)

I wore these lenses for 12 hours yesterday between 11:30am and 11:30pm with no true irritation. My eyes had redness, but It's not like my eyes were killing me, I didn't even know my eyes were red because they felt fine. At 5pm when I got home I put used a redness relief formula eye drops. I got it from Dollar Tree for $1 of course. I wear lenses aggressively because I lost my eyeglasses. I wore these all day with no problems. Having eye drops is a basic responsibility you have if you wear contacts for long periods of time.

  • Yeah I've already saw the video which only made me more confused. in a post earlier I thought you mentioned your friend had acuvue in gray? Figured you'd know from her experiences. I just don't want a fake look but also don't want to pay for something that hurts my eyes... btw I didn't get notified I just got curious and checked... its hurting my mind!

  • @kasbury88 The acuvu ones don't look fake and my friend who wears the gray acuvu ones has much darker eyes than me, and a the same skin tone as me. It looked like a natural dramatic look

  • Oh and emailing me would be better because I don't actually get on here and idk if it will notify me that you commented back. That was kristynjaiden@gmail.com... don't worry I promise I don't bite!

  • @kasbury88 You will get notified :) I can't give much of an opinion on Acuvu lenses. I mean, they are nice, but i can't ever wear them because Acuvu doesn't manufacture colored lenses for Astigmatism. And also, the printing process on Acuvu is different than Freshlook. Freslook uses 3 tones, Acuvu uses 2 tones i believe. If you are worried about it being too dark look at my other video where I test the much brighter Sterling Gray lens.

  • Thank you for the very detailed review! I had ONE question to ask you, when you wear these contacts can you see very clearly, or is there this cloudy effect?!?! I bought these contacts a few days ago, with 0.0 prescription, and when I put them on it had this cloudy effect, and I could not see clearly..., it wasn't blurry, just a little cloudy. And I did try and clean them.

I wanted to know if you had this problem hen you wore yours? btw this is my first time wearing contacts.

    THANK YOU :)

  • @111samadams YES. Mine are prescription, a strong prescription at that. They are clear for me, but the demo lenses I tried on were all 0.0 and were cloudy. Don't let it discourage you from wearing them though, they are about fun and changing up your look. :)

  • @Mimiarfian hey :) I just use a offbrand i got from Dollar Tree for $1. It's just eyedrops, don't spend a fortune on sterilized artificial tears :)

  • I'm very near sighted and have astigatisim,. I've been thinking about circle lenses but it may be too risky. I think I'll get these. Just wish they had more colors.

  • Oh and BTW your video is still the only one that is any help! I looked for hours on videos like yours and I couldn't find crap! Just an eyeball, a contact, and some crazy music. No people talking about the contacts, no full face shots or anything! I mean when ppl are seriously considering something they need more than a close up view... that's like buying a car and only seeing the interior... and you compared your natural eye color. I was worried it wouldn't show up on my eyes...

  • I know this video was posted like idk... a yr ago! But Im really interested in Gray contacts but I'm indecisive on which brand! I have a dark brown eye, not black basically a dark brown plus red w some gold streaking. I really want a dramatic eye color change but I want somethin that doesn't look fake. Acuvue 2s are cheaper and brighter but I'm still stuck! I had FL before and they were dryer than my clear contacts but didn't change my eye color much unless u stared at me... kristynjaiden@gmail

Oh , thanks they gave me a trial pair but they are in clear. For some reason lights look blurry at night when I drive. The ones they gave me are not toric. They gave me a whole bunch of colored ones but they are just demos.
