This is the end result of a lesson from Moshe Feldenkrais' last professional Feldenkrais Training in Amherst MA, in 1981. This lesson was originally taught on August 4, 1981.
This youtube clip was taken (by myself, Irene Gutteridge) from a recent professional Feldenkrais Training in Victoria, British Columbia, CAN. The teacher of this training is Jeff Haller who was a student in the Amherst Training. He has been educational director of numerous Feldenkrais Trainings worldwide, and highly follows the Amherst Training during his 4 year training program. The student being taped is a 2nd year student, Travis LaValley.
If anything this demonstrates the intricacy and depth involved in a Feldenkrais Lesson. Not always slow and easy. This lesson requires incredibly use of power in the spine, pelvis, not to mentioned flexibility and seeking continual support from the changing environment under you.
Enjoy!
