@gusathens79 They bought the engines from Suzuki and stamped their name on it after modificating intake and ignition slightly. It's not the only one who do that you know, there is no shame in buying the engine from someone else!

@Renceau The Aprilia engine doesnt share the same jap made engine parts,in other words the aprlia engine hasnt constructed from Suzuki Japan.
The Suzuki is much more reliable(crank etc etc) take it or leave it but its true.

@Azamat1337 right but to get the same power of a 2 stroke from a 4 stroke you must use bigger engines (see what's happening in the race world like moto2 and the new moto3 i can't really stand:( ). no doubt that a 250 cc aprilia rs can't compete with the 600 cc 4 stroke in terms of pure power, but infact the aprilia has 350 cc less than a ninja for example..
-
@braccobalbo It depends on the type of track, 2 stroke engines are designed to allow quick bursts of acceleration which is useful on a track with alot of bends, because it can shoot out of the turn quicker. 4 stroke engines will have more power at higher speeds which gives it an advantage on tracks with very long straights.

@calirapqueen Ports are not only used for exhaust buddy ;-)
-
@calirapqueen I'm talking engine wise (not about suspensions...). And I talked about intake (ports, pipes). You just said what I said in other words. Get your English straight.

@ermanno1888 73 stock hp? No. Suzuki figures say 65hp for the VJ23.
The engine is the same but the rs in the video is not the latest because the last version has 73 hp.
I' ve a rs model lf the year 2000 but it 's only for the track now :-)
