I weigh 208lbs and I find that the single disc and rear drum on my 750 does an admirable job of stopping. It's not high performance but it is adequate and safe for daily commuting. The secret is to have your brakes with new parts and adjusted to perfection. Without fault my crotch rocket riding friends say my bike is surpsingly good and that it is under-rated.

@MrResilire after a certain year they renamed the cb 750 think it was 1982 and called it the night hawk but it is well know to everyone as the cb 750 still as thats basically what it is just looks sportier! nothing beats the sound of the original cb 750 4 cylinders thoufrom the 70's

I'm confused. This looks like a '91-03 Nighthawk 750 only a bit sportier, but it's a CB 750? What's the difference?

@mr357 color is silver, exhausts are black and clutch is oil drived? You got one that was used in Japan motoschools.

Looks very much like mine! Except for the fact I've smaller mirrors and lights on it. Very cool bike!

@Volvo745er not very nice of you. No, it's not a moped. no, it's not stolen. That says a lot about you brother. I'll give you a big minus

We Americans constantly get the shaft from the manufacturers. I have nearly the same bike (same engine, exhaust, frame) but ours only came with a single front disk and the rear brake is a drum.

Man, you can get on ebay or somewhere else a front weel with 2 disks. Also you must change your braking system (single pump, two (i don't know how to say it in english) brakes). It is very hard to slow a 750 hi rotation and powerfull engine with only one brake disk. Also you may change the rear weel. Even you know to brake much better than me, you still need a braking system change. Think seriously about it. Actually, it's easy. Good luck bro!
