  • Also, if not a weight, perhaps just a connecting rod?

Also, the spinning pair of wheels, appears the right side is doing something (driving the flywheel) the left side? Perhaps another flywheel on that side to do the opposite work to the lever? Thus reducing the load on only one flywheel tyo it.

It would seem more balanced that way.

I am thinking mechanical advantage, levers and pulleys.

Interesting setup. I like your web page. I have bookmarked it.

  • Since the pair of wheel sare gears, they both help to keep the flywheel rotating.

  • What if you made the manual lever longer so it sticks out on the other side of the bar as well.

Them attach a wieght from a cable connected to the flywheel . Attached in a manner that as the wheel spins the weight falls onto the lever and causes it to move the bar as you did with your hand. A small counter weight on the front side of the bar will make it fall again as the flywheel rotates and the weight is lifted.

Hope explained well what I was thinking.

    Nice machine.

  • Thanks. I see your idea. I must think about pulling up that extra weight. Perhaps I will use the weight to pull the level up, since removing the shield from the magnets needs more force theninserting. /Eric

  • you have had these videos up for a while now, why did you move on from this? i bet if you revisted this you would make some new discoveries. anyway nice build, keep it up

  • If you add a second flywheel to the crank to drive the another rod, this will allow the level to move up/down.

The flywheel crank would have to have a greater movement to move the magnets.

The amount of energy needed to move the magnet could be to great to allow OU!

  • It would be better if you can simply rotate the plexiglass wheel using a small motor just at the right speed. This will eliminate a lot of mechanical stuff and losses.

If the energy out of the output wheel is more than the energy consumed by the motor, you have something.
