Final Verdict - 9/10

The good - Resistance takes yet again, a new direction while still feeling like what we have come to expect from Insomniac Games. Traditional Insomniac delivering another awesome, upgradable arsenal of weaponry. Campaign is played from the perspective of the war torn hero, Joesph Capelli who played a major role at the end of Resistance 2. Graphics in many situations are straight up eye candy. Controls and gun mechanics are excellent. Musical score is an intense mix of war music with a hint of sounds similar to that of God of War. Awesome boss fights. Online takes a new direction, concentrating on smaller, more intense battles. Modify your online character with custom skins, titles, weaponry, perks, and grenade types. Killstreaks are unlike those of other games, as they don't give the player kills or automated killing machines. They are solely based on the skill of the player and won't turn someone into a 1 man killing machine, capable of turning the entire game around like a certain other video game franchise. Game takes the best of Resistance 1 and Resistance 2 and creates a fast paced shooter worthy of being your go to online choice.

The bad - Rare graphic hiccups and frame rate dips. Sound effects while playing the single player campaign sometimes seem off point. Online has issues such as minor lag and graphical hiccups. Weapon balancing needs to be addressed.
