Respond to this video... Mos idolizojme shqiptarizmin e saj. Mos flasim vetem per Shqiperine kur flasim per Nene Terezen. Le te flasim vetem per te idealet e saj, per te drejtat dhe te dinjitetit e njeriut kudo ne bote per ate ajo ka luftuar ne menyre te palodhshme, gjate jeten e saj. Mos kufizojme veprat e kjo grua qe ishte, vertete, pa kufi, dhe nuk ka pare kufinjte fare mes njerezve. Anjes Bojaxhiu ka folur jo me pak se pese gjuhe ne pergjithesi: shqipjen, serbo-kroatishtjen, bengalishtjen, hindishtjen, dhe anglishtjen. Ajo ishte me origjine shqiptare, po...edhe?? @Sarandaaaaaa I don't believe Mother Teresa would have had any time to think about who was claiming her as their own. I think she would be appalled and embarrassed at the attention directed at her nationality. She did not choose to whom she was born or where. She chose to become well-educated and to transcend her circumstances. She used what she learnt to help others better their lot, to raise consciousness and increase awareness. Extremists use her legacy to make themselves look good.

@Sarandaaaaaa Listen, Mother Teresa knew who she was and where she came from. That was enough for her. She was not a nationalist. She was the opposite of a nationalist. She was a soul who, though born to Albanian parents, gave her life over to serving humanity in its entirety. Speaking only for myself, as an Albanian-American, I'm sick and tired of this distorted requisitioning of Mother Teresa to racist, nationalistic ends. She lived in India as an Indian; she was a citizen of the world.
