/meta/in/photostream/ BUT don't fall into the 'settings trap' by trying to mimic photos others have made. The best way to learn photography is to start out with knowing your camera and how exposure works, then you can create anything. I might have been at 1/250th of a second but another silo could be at 1/2000th of a second and have the same image. I think I need to do a video on this...

You definitely know your stuff and your video was informative--I learned a lot--but maybe change your tone a little so you don't seem so pissed off and you might get more regular viewers.

@GregoryCazillo Thought so. When I was first starting out with photography I started using allot of the "artist effects" on the camera, but I realized that makes a photo harder to work with when trying to customize it or edit it in post. I've also learned that it can get someone in a bad habit of relying too much on the effects rather than making the original shot good.

Do agree that light trumps everything else in a picture. My pictures improved drastically. Now the first thing I look for is proper light.

reuploaded?
saying you could not create the same photo on those shoes is not a plus on your part, I could create that exact photo, and you would not be able to tell the difference.

A question about the picture at 8:26.
Did you take the photo in color first and then put it in monotone with a photo editor or did you take it in monotone from the beginning? I'm assuming you took it in color from the start.

@Thoraxe000 All DSLRs shoot in color first, then they are processed to B&W.
