  • thanks so much for the video uploads, this was one of the best nights of my life. I was right up against the stage for the whole set and it was completely worth any permanent ear damage I may have suffered.

  • Ah! Be careful with that... Isn't going to be as much fun going to concerts if you end up going deaf! My friends and I all knew to bring earplugs. (Quite a few other people at Lee's did too!) Mono is the only band where I'd consider it to always be absolutely necessary, lol. They're so loud, it melts your face off. (In a good way.)

  • nice. what was the setlist for this show? i saw the montreal show and it was ashes in the snow / burial at sea / follow the map / pure as snow / yearning / the battle to heaven / halo / everlasting light

  • Damn! I was disappointed they didn't do Battle to Heaven! Ours was the same, except delete Pure as Snow, and replace Battle with Moonlight... Uploading the Halo clip now.

  • man, pure as snow was probably the highlight of the night. that song absolutely destroys live. i guess you saw it in nyc. i would have preferred to change moonlight for the battle to heaven, i'm not really to into that song. moonlight was originally on our setlist in place of everlasting light, but that was an amazing close so i'm happy that it got switched.

  • Yeah, Everlasting Light pretty much sounds like the end of the world, lol. (So I'm not sure how you'd follow THAT. It's awesome as a closer.)

  • I totally love Taka's arm gesture at minute 5 :-)

  • im going to see them next month :)

  • I experienced them at the Glasshouse in Pomona back in 2006. I brought a friend who has never listened to their music, and at the moment of the crescendo (4:39 in this video), he jumped back and told me, "that scared the shit out of me!"

  • Breathtaking.

  • if you have it, you should upload moonlight.

  • I saw them last night in San Francisco. We were in the very front next to Takaakira and Kunishi.

    It was amzingly epic.
