The line "Is that what the future holds" seems to be said with a degree of sadness and resignation that no matter what path he takes, the journey was pointless to begin with. Cracking song though.

This is probably the scariest music video I have ever seen, for one reason or another. Sitting alone in the dark super late at night watching it is not a good idea... but absolutely great, nonetheless.

I don't they're trying anything really, they're just messing about. I think it's a sort of take-the-piss of old british post-war attitudes.
