Starting the recently acquired Villiers Mk25 engine. It only required a carburetor, points cleaning, and the timing set. It seems to run pretty well, although the temporary skid rattles and walks all over the place!
My Villiers catalog lists the 256cc Mark 25 and Mark 25RG 4-stroke engines, as well as the Mark 25C 147cc 2-stroke. I'm under the impression that this is the MK25C. It weighs a good bit more than the Mark 2 and Mark 3, around 45lbs with the tank and silencer. I have a spares manual for the Mark 24 and Mark 25 2-stroke engines as well which depicts this very engine. I could probably email you a copy of the specifications if you are interested.
