Think the mark of the beast or Antichrist will be different then a chip. The technology is already past that where they can scan a little square tattoo like box. Certainly you've seen them as every company has an individual one assume for their websites. Reason being a person who already has taken a chip cannot be held accountable as the mark of the Antichrist is related to his name and seals allegiance to him. So wow! we are so close! @vpartwork You seem like you can appreciate a scholarly comparison. There are marked differences between the Hebrew Bible and any of the Christian versions. Key examples include Daniel 9:25-26 and many areas in Isaiah. Make a comparison of any prophet and other areas, as well as the interpretations of meaning, for just the scholarship. What you call the Old Testament is very different from the Hebrew Bible in many places, and I just gave you some samples to wet your appetite.

@peraspira -Christianity teaches that ALL other faiths are false, as does Islam. If they are false, they are illegitimate as well. If they are illigitimate and false they are wrong and thus they are evil.

@peraspira -No its not arrogant - its wise. Ask Elijah if he "respected" the prophets of Baal's "religion". Answer this question: should I respect something that is sending people to hell? Yes, or no.

@peraspira -I have done research, there is little to no difference in translations dating back to the original manuscripts of the Bible. Don't play semantics here, the Jewish Bible is no different than the Christian other than the exclusion of the New Testament, period.

@vpartwork You need to educate yourself more. The 5 books of the Tanakh are different in key areas from what you call the Old Testament. Why do you think that there is a "KJV" and other Christian versions as opposed to the Jewish, or Hebrew, Bible? Although very similar in some areas, there are some areas in which the translations are extremely different, the various Christian versions having been translated and rewritten many times from the Hebrew Bible. You should do some research.

@vpartwork Not at all. The Christian Bible is for those of the Christian faith. It is a beautiful faith, but it certainly is not the only legitimate faith. Sorry, but you are not theologically mature until you recognize differences in legitimate theologies and cultures and respect them. Many religions do not have the need for a man-god intermediary between the faithful and God. Some, such as Christianity, do. It is a beautiful theology, but one should not be arrogant about it.

@peraspira -Jews use the Torah - the first 5 books of the Tanakh (their Bible). Each book of that Bible is in the Old Testment - there are 39 books. The Christian Bible simply uses them with the NT. We do not adhere to the old laws as put forth through the covenant laws kept strictly by the Jews. The difference is not great my friend.
