I agree with Snapman. This isn't about politics. It's about what is the right thing to do. The people of this town are an inspiration. All they are doing is what previous generations of Americans have always done. Use their smarts and be innovative. It's what made America the most powerful nation on earth and it's what they forgot for a while. I think the future is bright for this country if the people are prepared to do what is needed to be done regardless of politics.

I do agree with you about the politics not mattering with the major agenda of Greensburg. I think a lot of people are just responding to this lone video. Bush was not a big supporter of "going Green". So this ends up being mud in the eye of republicans. Politics was mentioned in the beginning of this vid.

I am from greensburg and I really do not think political status is an issue for going green. Let me demonstrate with an example. A republican and a democrat are both in a desert. They both are thirsty. If they get the chance to get water then they will drink it. See, What you guys are trying to do is make issues that do not apply to going green. It saves money.... going green to save green....

guys sorry to burst your bubble but a mid America republican town going green. That is kind of a big deal. But this is a little over the top do-gooder pat yourself on the back. Its an offensive approach to the story.
