Barn Buddy Amigo at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch

Amigo came to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in May 2000. His owner's daughter had just died, and she was going to be raising three small grandchildren. She no longer had time to care for her two miniature horses and asked us to find them good homes. The mare was kind of shy and was successfully adopted to a family with one small boy. Amigo, on the other hand, was impish and always getting into trouble. But you just had to love that face and that hair! So, since he was friendly, very likeable and smaller than a regular horse, we decided that he would make a great Longmeadow Rescue Ranch mascot.
