Ukuleles & Ashbory Bass - Caravan (Ska)

This song was written by Juan Tizol and made famous by Duke Ellington.

I recorded the bass and rhythm uke late one night at my mother-in-law's guest room over Christmas vacation, over a month and a half ago. I've been neglecting this project ever since.

When David came over recently, I asked if he'd like to help me finish the song...with no advanced warning or practice, he gave it a go! Marvin the Martian makes an appearance, too.

Hi - Do you-all have a CD with (ska)ravan on it? Even better yet, a DVD, as your video really enhances your musical adaptation of Caravan.

Caravam was one of my favorites from way back when I wanted to become a professional organist / entertainer. Then Lawrence Welk went off the air, and the only job for an organist (outside of a church) ceased to exist.

Anyway, I'd love to acquire a copy of your arrangement of Caravan. I absolutely love it.
