  • @CrazyLegsMcgee123 U should definitely use some gain/distortion to boost it! Either from the console or from a rack (fx sends) or use a pedal as well even in the PA situation.

  • @kalchri so the green bullet wouldn't break up as much straight into the pa without a pedal?

  • @CrazyLegsMcgee123 You can do both. If you plug the green bullet direct into the pa, you can use a distortion / overdrive pedal (ex. Green bullet- distortion pedal – pa), and if you plug it into an amp, you can use the amp gain.

  • @kalchri cool. i want to find a way to get distorted vocals when playing with a band. i figured the green bullet would be a good mic to use. do you think i could plug the green bullet into the pa or would i need to plug it into an amp? thanks

  • @CrazyLegsMcgee123 Directly into an interface. The recording chain was: green bullet/ mic preamp / audio interface/ sequencer (with tube distortion and reverb as plugin inserts). Of course the mic was very-very close to my mouth (not that far, as you’ve seen it in the video).

  • For the vocals, ho did you record it? Did you have the Green Bullet plugged directly into an interface or did you have it plugged into an amp with that micd?

  • @Melmanusa THANQ MAN!
