@123mcbee There is lots of McBee's still up in that area. If you still live in the ATL area it would make a great Sunday drive or something. It's not that far. Only 30 minutes west of Chatt. Highway 156 through South Pittsburg turns into Jump Off Rd. near Sewanee.

I believe he is the cousin my late husband called Robin Hood. He always said "Maacbe" long on the a and short on the b. I have been to Jump Off but not for years.
I still visit Sewanee and Cowan from time to time.

RAW MASH and MOUTH MUSIC (a GA PBS show hosted by Hamper) may be re-leased by the Tenn Folklore Society. RAW MASH was a video done by Sol Korine and Blaine Dunlap in 1978. Sol and I accidently and unexpectedly were the main speakers for the National Conference of Teachers of English (College Eng Dept profs). A wonderful great and funny tale (now...30 years later) Not enough space to elaborate, however, we were never invited back!
