My interpretation to Marvin's Room is about exploring the ideas of how we feel when there's an elephant in the room. Its awkward and yet there's a sense of performativity when interacting with others in a room full of hidden desires/secrets.
We expect for people to be forward and upfront when they have any problems with us, but in reality sometimes its not worth to talk about it.
