Vidi questo spettacolo a Pesaro nell'ottobre 1996 e ne rimasi fulminato, tanto che decisi di acquistare il biglietto anche per la replica dell'aprile successivo. Ricordo questo monologo come fosse ieri, e rivederlo dopo tanto tempo è per me una grande emozione.

Buon compleanno, eroico guerriero del pensiero. Grazie per la tua intelligenza, la tua passione, la tua poesia, la tua onestà. Mi manchi ogni giorno di più.

@spirtokouto It means that good ideas are normally to complicate to be explained by politician to normal peaple, so they normally decide what to say to the public asking it to a TVrealitywriter or similar. He speaks about his grandmother and her vote about things she will never understand. Democracy look for the biggest number of peaple and for its vote, it's only a complicate way to get the power in the name of the poor peaple. It's very easy if you own tv channel or newspaper.

Giorgio Gaber è talmente unico ed universale che andrebbe insegnato in modo approfondito su tutte le scuole superiori italiane.

Se vogliamo cambiare questa nostra società di merda, dobbiamo iniziare a formare i nostri giovani sin dall'inizio attraverso valori di giustizia, morale, etica e rispetto per le leggi e le istituzioni. la SCHOLA...DEVE RITORNARE SCHOLA. Solo così ci potremo salvare. Altrimenti nel giro di un paio di decadi, l'Italia come nazione sarà estinta.

The synthesis is that in a democratic government the politicians use the excuse of the "being selected by the people" to justify the fact that they lowered their morality. In a modern democracy a politician instead of trying to be better and guide, prefers to keep the consensus in order be stay in power.
