Santa Monica Beach Bike Path Crane Shots

Testing out the new Kessler LIte Crane, which came in yesterday (3/30.2011) First time using one of these things, and having a blast playing around with it. Slapped a Canon 5Dm2 on it, with a 24-105 f4L zoom lens, and shot video at 1/250 or 1/160th of a second at around f8 to f11 (or so) at 160 ISO. Set focus for about 8 feet, and let it fly. I had no way to secure the monitor, so it was flopping around, making it hard at times to see the action. Otherwise, it went pretty smooth for the first time out.

Can't say. I've never used the KC pocket jib, but I was seriously thinking about getting that one. But I went with the KC Lite becasueI need something very portable and easy to get in hard spots.
