Not only the USA would suffer, the whole world would. And by the way stuff like this that we have is more beautiful than things you may ever see. Our national parks and even state parks are magnificent works of nature.
As I was saying if the caldera blows the world is screwed, no matter where you are.

It would kill thousands, not even millions. There would be a lot of ash, and it would be volcanic winter not an ice age. The volcanic winter would last up to 10 years at most. But the ash would kill most. People up to 600 miles away would be the most in danger.

My geography teacher tells me if this erupts in the worse case scenario, it will probably cause the next ice age :( in the next 1000 years that is :) this is y I hate nature
